The 2009 LAQ Vacation Clerkship Program will run from Monday 23 November to Friday 4 December in Brisbane.

The LAQ vacation clerkship is suitable for candidates who are not yet in their final year of law and want to get an understanding of the work done by Legal Aid Queensland, before deciding where they will apply for articles or a position.

The vacation clerkship involves placement with a team and being involved in the team's work. Vacation clerks attend a full seminar program, which provides information about work done in other parts of the office from the practitioner's view-point.

Unfortunately, LAQ is unable to offer vacation clerkships in our regional offices.
